Since I have this "director's" privilege, I would like to share a few articles from my personal perspective. The Search for a Worthy Team I believe no one would argue that finding a good team is the most important aspect of any business—stranger still, it often outweighs even the initial idea. But finding a business partner is even more crucial. Some people enjoy running their businesses solo and are perfectly content with that. I’m not one of those people. I need to discuss, see the spark in someone's eyes, debate, and ultimately share both the responsibilities and setbacks. In short, my friends, choosing a business partner — especially in a field like event organization — is much more challenging than choosing a life partner. Trust me, I know. Choosing a Business Partner Choosing a business partner is a stroke of luck. At a children's birthday party, I happened to meet a very beautiful, somewhat reserved young woman. Her large, sad eyes captivated me. Ilona, a lawyer by profession, had been living in Spain for several years. She was saddened by the lack of a driving force in her active life — a real occupation. I instantly "fell in love" with her. Not in the sense of finding my soulmate. Quite the opposite; we are fundamentally different in every way. But I saw in Ilona a person I could trust completely. And isn't that what we primarily seek in partners, especially when starting a business? Moreover, when everything around seems difficult and the world is crumbling, Ilona displays an internal calmness and cold, logical thinking that is vital for any business. This has helped us more than once in tough situations! I am more exuberant and enthusiastic — this is good too. But often it is the composure, cool mind, and emotional detachment that propel the team to new heights. The Birth of Casamiga Events We quickly became friends, and within a month, we opened our event agency in Spain — Casamiga Events. However, we first needed to assemble a team, find a children's entertainer, and talented performers for our events — people who were charismatic, loved children, and could speak Russian fluently!
